In the fall of 2014 we had a complete kitchen remodel done by G & M Builders. The project was extensive, requiring removal of a load-bearing wall to expand the area. It also involved removal of existing cabinets, countertops, flooring, trim, soffits, electrical, lighting and appliances. Bryant and his team assessed the job and provided a timeline and written estimate. He assured us that he would be dedicated to our project only until it was completed.

Bryant listened to our ideas, yet provided additional input and design alternatives that he felt would improve the appearance of the kitchen. Although we had pre-ordered some components for the project, Bryant was on site to assure they were integrated correctly into the construction process.

Bryant and his assistant Dave were very conscientious workers, arriving early, staying on task and working until the day's schedule was complete. They were extremely professional, pleasant, always considerate of our presence in the house, and cleaned up the site before leaving for the day.

All work including structural, carpentry, drywall, painting, wood staining, plumbing, electrical, installation of all materials and appliances exceeded our expectations. We feel the quality of the workmanship was unequaled. Bryant is a skilled craftsman, precise and detail-oriented.

We were completely pleased with our kitchen renovation; it looks even better than we initially envisioned. Bryant takes pride in his work and his work ethic is evident in the finished project. We highly recommend G & M Builders to anyone considering a home improvement project.

Honesty, integrity, expertise, commitment to quality, work ethic, and low cost are the attributes I think are important when hiring a contractor to work on one's house. I moved to Yorkville from Mississippi in 2011. I bought a foreclosed house for a great price, but it needed a wide variety of work from exterior repair to carpet and everything in between. Obviously, I was new to the area and didn't know who to hire. I hired five different contractors, but was ultimately disappointed in each one. Frankly, I felt ripped off.

When I hired Bryant what I was most stuck by was the contrast between him and everybody else. My hopes and expectations were exceeded in every way. When I say exceeded, I mean far exceeded. I was astonished by how hard he and Dave worked. They worked 10 hours a day and didn't even break for lunch. It was almost unbelievable.

The money available to complete all the work needed was limited, but his advice as the work progressed stretched my dollar so everything was completed and affordable. One doesn't always know what a job will entail until the work is started. I asked Bryant for worst case estimates and the work was completed under budget. If anyone ever lived that one could trust to work on time and materials, it is Bryant.

Here's a short story that epitomizes Bryant. Two weeks before he was scheduled to start work on our contract my basement flooded. I called Bryant and he came out and accurately analyzed what was causing the flooding. This was after I had hired a basement waterproofing company who improperly analyzed the problem and had completed their work three years previously. This changed the focus and priority of the work Bryant was hired to do, and Bryant adapted to the change with no problem. Then around 3:00 Friday afternoon before a long holiday weekend, and again before our contract was scheduled to begin, a pipe sprang a leak in the ceiling above the basement kitchen. I called a plumber. I had to turn off the water and the plumber told me he needed access to the pipe. I called Bryant around 4:00, but he was leaving that evening to go out of town on vacation with his wife. He delayed his departure and came over within an hour. He removed the ceiling to expose the pipe so the plumber could fix the pipe the next day. Now here's something you won't believe. He bagged and carried all the trash up to the garage and cleaned up the basement before he left.

Bryant's input and analysis was the key to convincing the basement water proofing company to file a liability claim with their insurance company. This saved me tens of thousands of dollars. Without Bryant's help I doubt a claim would have been made. Bryant was a huge help when the insurance adjuster came out to evaluate the cost of repairs.

I doubt any other contractor would or could provide the level of customer service Bryant provides. I'll never hire anyone else. The thought going through my mind when I wrote Bryant the check when the job was done was, "This is money well spent." I can't recommend G & M Builders highly enough. If only I could pronounce and spell his last name.

We have been doing some remodeling and updating of our 40 year old home.

Over the last several years, we have used G & M Builders for various projects. Bryant himself replaced all of the original interior flat panel hollow doors with 6-panel Oak doors, including rebuilding the frames and finishing trim. These included pocket doors, normal pass-thru doors and sliding closet doors. G & M replaced the roof on our outside shed and leveled an area of our deck which had sunk a few inches. Our most complex renovation was to remodel the master bedroom full bath. My wife and I wanted a shower area with a low threshold for stepping into. This involved completely gutting the entire bathroom down to the wall studs. We discovered that the original water lines had been improperly installed and it was necessary to redo them. Electrical lines had to be redone as we had additional lighting added and the exhaust fan moved to better handle the exhaust requirements. The floor and walls of the shower area were tiled, including the installation of recessed shelving, safety bars, installation of a new shower fixture setup and new glass sliding doors. We wanted to keep our sink cabinet but wanted it raised about 4 inches. Bryant came up with a solution that accomplished the goal.

Overall, we found Bryant and his crew members a pleasure to work with. Bryant is a very good organizer and he had many suggestions. If we had special requests or concerns, he quickly addressed them. True to his word, once he started the project, he was here every day until it was done. He took extraordinary efforts to minimize the dust from demolishing the bathroom by putting up plastic sheeting from ceiling to floor. Every day, before leaving, he cleaned up with a vacuum. We would happily recommend G & M Builders and Bryant and his crew for remodeling and other construction related work. We will be using them again.

I would like to thank G&M Builders and especially Bryant for his professionalism and the extra time and effort he put into our front porch facelift. We Discussed replacing posts, rails and painting the entire porch. He took the extra time to search for the correct posts so the job could be completed properly. The porch area was left clean and neat once the job was completed and the porch looks fantastic! I would highly recommend G&M Builders for your projects.

In a world where quality work and customer service no longer seem to matter, G&M Builders stands out in providing both exceptional quality and unbelievable service. Where to begin...

The estimate - Bryant came in and gave us an estimate for replacing all the windows and doors in our house. He has a definite focus for excellence in all he does while remaining committed to providing what the customer wants. He advised what he would do if it were up to him, then informed and educated us on the pros and cons of whatever we decided to do. He explained why he opts for certain products over others for better quality results.

Our timeline - G&M was ready to do the work when we were. Our plans to start work were put on hold for several months and G&M was completely cooperative and patient with our delays.

The process - Construction projects involve strangers in your house and chaos and mess for a time. Bryant and Dave were the best - we thoroughly enjoyed having them here while they worked! They were respectful of our schedule and went out of their way to minimize disruption to our lives and home. I've never had a contractor, repairman, or service provider clean up as well as they did. They truly went above and beyond the call of duty. One thing that struck me was how quiet they were - aside from the construction noise, there was no yelling or hollering like I've experienced with some construction crews - it was just fun having them here!

The outcome - As I told Bryant, I didn't realize how bad our windows really were until the new ones were in! The work is absolutely beautiful - Bryant has a real talent and it shows. Both Dave and Bryant pay keen attention to detail in the work and have an eagerness to always go the extra mile. We're going to miss them - even the dog misses them! I guess we just need to start looking for the next project for G&M Builders!

It was a pleasure working with G and M Builders. I now have a bathroom that I never dreamed could look so beautiful! They did a lot of work on our house and it all looks so nice! Bryant was very organized as well and always easy to get in touch with. He was very patient with all of our questions. He even gave us suggestions as far as maintenance so it can stay beautiful, which I really appreciated. They were very considerate of our home and even swept the floor when they were done. They are honest workers and I would trust them to do a good job again.

We are very pleased and excited to share our experience using Bryant Szudarski. Bryant did an outstanding job! He has a true eye for detail and is a perfectionist! From the beginning, he communicated every aspect to us and when he was done, he thoroughly cleaned up after himself! He went above and beyond making sure we were happy with the replacement windows he installed for us. As with any remodel, it is very difficult to get it to look perfect, Bryant achieved this for us and we couldn't be happier!! He also, built a cabinet for our wine refrigerator, matching our existing cabinets and finish! Just beautiful! We have received many overwhelming compliments on his work and would highly recommend Bryant, to anyone looking for new or remodel work, and we will not use anyone else but G & M Builders for our future projects.

G & M Builders is a highly-reputable company that completes their work on time, on budget and with the highest building standards. All of the wood trim, doors and fireplace mantels in our new home were finished several years ago entirely by G & M, and they are absolutely beautiful. We recently had Bryant install a coffered ceiling in our great room, along with crown moldings and wainscoting in our den. He was willing to adapt to all of the changes we wanted, and was able to suggest revisions and design elements he thought would enhance the project. His precision and attention to detail are extremely impressive, and we are very happy we chose G & M to complete this project. Two years ago we had Bryant build a two- car garage as an outbuilding which also was constructed to his highest standards. We would highly recommend Bryant at G & M to handle and complete any project in your home.

I have had more than one experience with G&M Builders and they have my highest recommendation. Bryant and his crew are honest, friendly, and they are perfectionists at their work. They put a new roof on my home and it looks great. They even went out of their way to make sure no nails were left in my grass due to my two dogs. They finished the job in two days.

If anyone out there needs a contractor to do anything to their home and you want someone honest and someone you can trust to do the best job, with no short cuts, this is the company to hire.
